2025-05-16
Leather grade inspection requires consideration of multiple factors, including utilization rate, shoe last, customer acceptance, strength, leather quality, and area size. Leather is typically classified into five grades:
Grade A: Utilization rate of 85% or higher;
Grade B: Utilization rate between 75% and 85%;
Grade C: Utilization rate between 65% and 75%;
Grade D: Utilization rate between 55% and 65%;
Grade E: Utilization rate below 55%.
It is worth noting that for general domestic leather materials, the grading standards will be adjusted. For example, the utilization rate for Grade A can be increased to 90% or higher, while Grade E can be lowered to 60% or lower.
